Summer is here! Let’s celebrate the end of the school year and our amazing volunteers with a special POW! Picnic Party.

Join us in the park for yummy food, special activities, and all the regular POW! awesomeness.

All are welcome - including current, returning, and new families and their guests.

Our Programs

Saturday FUN for Kids & Families

We are proud to offer free & low-cost enrichment programs for inclusive learning and play across all abilities, backgrounds, and ages in a safe and supportive environment.

Join us most Saturdays for a Morning Session (10:30am-12:30pm) & Afternoon Session (12-2pm) at McCarren Park & Play Center in Brooklyn, NY. You are welcome to attend either or both sessions! Please note: children must be accompanied by a guardian.

Morning Session

10:30am-12:30pm

Storytelling that is engaging and related to participants’ world
Activities such as ballroom dance, yoga, ballet, brain gymnastics, and movement games that blend exercise, fun, and expression
Music that is interactive and prompts speech and language development through listening and singing
Art projects that are process-oriented, collaborative, and sensory-stimulating
Open playtime where everyone can enjoy being in a group and discover ways to play together using everyday objects in creative ways.

Afternoon Session

12pm-2pm

Music that is interactive and prompts speech and language development through listening and singing
Sports (such as Soccer) that help strengthen social skills, team spirit, and motor/physical skills
Storytelling that is engaging and related to participants’ world
Art projects that are process-oriented, collaborative, and sensory-stimulating
Open playtime where everyone can enjoy being in a group and discover ways to play together using everyday materials in creative ways
