Arkadiy StepanchukArkadiy leads adaptive dance for POW! Bringing an incredible patience and thoughtful energy as he teaches dance to children of all abilities through his non-profit, DuDance. Arkadiy is a fantastic program leader.

Jana MarkovaJana leads movement! for POW! As a certified Pilates teacher and a dancer, Jana expertly provides the right balance of challenge and comfort in her program. POW! is lucky to have Jana's wealth of knowledge.

Laurence AgénorLaurence Agénor has been volunteering with POW since its inception in 2019. She is a Doctor of Physical Therapy at a clinic in Midtown East as well as a Pilates and dance instructor. Prior to becoming a physical therapist, Laurence was an elementary school teacher at a charter school in Washington, D.C. Her love for teaching, movement and working with children with special needs ultimately drew her to volunteering with POW!

Jeremy HershJeremy co-leads storytime! at POW! An accomplished filmmaker, director and writer, Jeremy brings flair to his storytime! sessions, engaging POW! participants to understand and engage with the stories he reads more deeply.

Kendra BrodyKendra Brody leads yoga! at POW!
She is a licensed Yoga teacher and also specializes in body work and massage. She makes Yoga accessible and fun for POW! participants who love her. |
Amy BuchananAmy co-leads music! at POW!
As a playwright, performer and musician, Amy brings a breadth of artistic expression to her work on her program. POW! participants always have a blast with her. |
Diana FoxDiana is a musician and early childhood educator living in Brooklyn. She has been teaching early childhood music classes throughout NYC for the past 6 years and teaches the 2s-3s program at wBees Forest School in Brooklyn. She has worked as a teaching artist and performer with the New York City Children's Theater and worked extensively with children's musician Laurie Berkner on her "Music In Me" program. She has a BA in theater performance and psychology from Lewis and Clark College, and is currently working on making original music and videos for children!
